One of our clients is actively looking to fill a Director of New Machine Sales opening. This opportunity is with a well established manufacturing company in the Tri-State area.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing regional sales organization, setting clear performance metrics and ensuring strong execution across managers, key accounts, and individual contributors.
- Drive growth through strategic sales planning, identifying priority markets, expanding opportunities in metal fabrication and related industries, and guiding teams through complex capital-equipment sales cycles.
- Strengthen customer and partner relationships, serving as a strategic liaison between clients and internal teams while ensuring exceptional pre- and post-sale support.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Operations to align offerings, refine pricing and contracts, and ensure accurate production forecasting.
- Shape market direction through data and industry presence, using competitive and market insights to inform strategy while representing the company at key trade events and associations.
Qualifications
- 7 years in capital equipment sales and sales management
- Commitment to lean practices and continuous improvement
- Proven ability to establish and manage KPIs to drive sales
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a sales team of at least 5 employees
Salary : $170,000 - $200,000
