What are the responsibilities and job description for the BIM Technician position at EDiS Company?
EDiS is seeking a BIM Technician to join our AMP (Advanced Modeling Precision) team. In this role, you'll work alongside project teams to develop and coordinate detailed architectural, structural, and MEP models, helping ensure projects are built accurately, efficiently, and with fewer surprises in the field. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys technology, problem-solving, and collaborating with both office and field teams to improve project outcomes.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- A degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of hands-on modeling experience with Revit, Fabrication, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Revit or CAD certification strongly preferred.
- OSHA 10-hour, CPR, and First Aid certified (or ready to get there with our help).
- Experience with coordination for commercial construction projects, ideally with complex MEP systems.
