What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Loss Prevention Manager position at Edikted?
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Loss Prevention to build and lead a best-in-class asset protection strategy across our retail footprint. This role will be responsible for developing scalable programs, mitigating risk, and protecting company assets while supporting a seamless and positive store experience.
This is a highly visible role that partners cross-functionally with Retail, People (HR), Legal, and Operations to ensure strong controls, compliance, and proactive risk management as we grow.
What You’ll Do
Strategy & Program Development
- Design and implement a comprehensive loss prevention strategy aligned with Edikted’s rapid retail expansion
- Build scalable policies, procedures, and tools to minimize shrink and operational risk
- Establish KPIs, reporting frameworks, and dashboards to track performance and trends
Retail Operations & Field Support
- Partner with District and Store Managers to embed LP practices into daily operations
- Conduct store audits, risk assessments, and investigations into theft, fraud, and policy violations
- Identify patterns and implement proactive solutions to reduce loss
Investigations & Compliance
- Lead internal investigations related to employee theft, misconduct, and external incidents
- Ensure all investigations are conducted in a fair, consistent, and legally compliant manner
- Partner with HR on corrective actions and documentation
Technology & Systems
- Evaluate and implement LP technologies (CCTV, EAS, inventory controls, reporting tools)
- Leverage data and analytics to identify trends and inform decision-making
Training & Culture
- Develop and deliver training programs for store teams on loss prevention awareness and best practices
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and integrity across the organization
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Work closely with HR, Legal, Finance, and IT to ensure alignment on policies and risk mitigation
- Support new store openings with LP planning, setup, and execution
What You'll Bring
- 7 years of experience in Loss Prevention / Asset Protection, with multi-unit retail experience
- Proven experience building or scaling LP programs in a high-growth environment
- Strong investigative skills with experience handling sensitive employee matters
- Deep understanding of retail operations, shrink drivers, and risk mitigation strategies
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action
- Strong communicator who can influence at all levels; from store teams to executive leadership
- High integrity, sound judgment, and ability to handle confidential information
