We're seeking a reliable and safety-focused Center Caretaker/Driver to join our team at our main office in Mount Pleasant, MI. - Perform routine vehicle maintenance and monitoring, including pre- and post-trip inspections, cleaning, and reporting any issues promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the main office facility, including sanitizing therapy spaces, restocking supplies, and light maintenance tasks to ensure a welcoming, hygienic environment.
- For full-time positions: Provide hands-on support as a Behavior Technician during sessions, implementing ABA strategies under supervision, tracking client progress, and fostering positive interactions.
- Document transport logs, incidents, and care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all training requirements, including Non-Emergency Medical Transport CTS certification and QBS Safety Care techniques for safe client handling and de-escalation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Michigan driver's license with a clean driving record.

- Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain Certified Transport Specialist (CST) certification and QBS Safety Care training (provided by Edify ABA).
- Physical ability to assist clients with mobility needs, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform cleaning tasks.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a calm demeanor in dynamic situations.
- Commitment to our EC3 philosophy of empathy-driven care that prioritizes client dignity and family partnership.
- Preferred: Prior experience in caregiving, driving for medical/non-emergency transport, or working with individuals with special needs.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive starting pay: $16/hour for core caretaker/driver duties; $17/hour for Behavior Technician service time (full-time only).
- Paid training QBS Safety Care certifications.
- Flexible scheduling options (part-time: 20-30 hours/week; full-time: 40 hours/week, including potential evenings/weekends).
- Company-provided vehicle, fuel, and maintenance—no personal vehicle use required.
