What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Technician position at Edify Behavioral Applications, LLC?
Role:
Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to clients with autism at Edify. Follow treatment plans, teach communication/social skills, collect data via app (requires smartphone), manage behaviors using Edify's Compassion Centered Care model, and collaborate with Licensed Behavior Analysts.
Key Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR/First Aid (before training)
- Driver’s license
- Pass background/OIG/state checks
- Obtain RBT certification within 90 days (free 2-week paid training provided)
Schedule:
Mon–Fri, 11 AM–8 PM
Flexible 15–40 hrs/week
Strong preference for 3 PM–8 PM availability
Compensation & Perks:
- Starts at $15/hr
- Raises to $17/hr upon RBT certification (within 90 days)
- Training paid at minimum wage
- Free RBT prep and company training
- No client transport required
Growth:
Entry-level role required for all higher positions.
Opportunities to become BCBA/LBA, move into leadership, scheduling, training, or help open new centers.
