Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care & Urgent Care

Edicine Internal Medicine & Urgent Care is seeking a compassionate, motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our collaborative healthcare team. This position offers the opportunity to provide both primary care and urgent care services while inheriting an established patient panel and active schedule—allowing you to begin seeing patients immediately rather than building a patient base from scratch.

The ideal candidate enjoys building long-term relationships with patients while also treating acute illnesses and injuries in a fast-paced urgent care environment. Providers will primarily care for adult patients in the primary care setting while also treating urgent care patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care for adult patients and urgent care services for patients of all ages.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries.
• Manage chronic medical conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, thyroid disorders, asthma, COPD, anxiety, depression, and other common medical conditions.
• Perform annual wellness visits, preventive care, routine follow-up appointments, and same-day acute visits.
• Order, interpret, and review laboratory testing, imaging, and other diagnostic studies.
• Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Perform office-based procedures within scope of practice.
• Educate patients regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and preventive health.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Provide telemedicine services as appropriate.

Compensation & Earning Potential

This position offers a competitive base salary that is determined by experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.

Providers inherit an established patient panel and active schedule, allowing for immediate productivity rather than building a patient base from scratch.

Total compensation is based on productivity, collections, and overall provider performance.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
