General Managers will be responsible for directing and overseeing the restaurant's daily operations, ensuring an exceptional hospitality-driven experience for guests. As the General Manager, you will manage a passionate team, maintain high standards of food quality and cleanliness, and promote a positive working environment. General Managers will be expected to work in a fast-paced and energetic environment that requires a high level of focus and attention to detail. This is an all-encompassing leadership position, touching on every aspect of the restaurant with an owner’s mindset. This position sets the tone for the restaurant and communicates the ownership and company values throughout the team.
As a General Manager, a typical day might include the following:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the restaurant's daily operations to ensure smooth functioning and achievement of business objectives
- Coach, mentor, and provide ongoing training to team members to ensure high levels of productivity, efficiency, and customer service
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and maintain accurate records to ensure adequate supplies and minimize waste
- Uphold and enforce strict standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety to ensure compliance with health department regulations and company policies
- Create and maintain a positive work environment by fostering teamwork, resolving conflicts, and promoting employee morale and engagement
- Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of staff members and provide constructive feedback for improvement
- Address customer complaints and ensure timely resolutions to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Proactively anticipate and manage staffing shortages, food quality, and service issues
- Guide completion of employee tasks
- Serve food and beverages to guests with exceptional hospitality
- Ensure adequate staffing for fluctuating business needs through scheduling
- Manage food, labor, and operational costs associated with running the business
- Order food, beverages, and supplies
- Develop relationships with guests and employees to provide high-quality service and a hospitality-driven experience
- Attend all scheduled employee meetings and education events
- Monitor employee and guest activities to ensure liquor regulations are obeyed
- Achieve advanced to proficient competency at all roles and stations throughout the restaurant

Job Requirements:
- 2 years of experience as a Manager or General Manager in the restaurant industry
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
- Ability to manage a team and delegate tasks effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced work environment
- Basic computer skills and experience with restaurant POS systems
- Ability to work long hours during peak periods

Compensation & Benefits:
$55,000 per year depending on experience
- $55,000 base pay plus monthly bonuses after training

Work Environment:
This job entails frequent exposure to high temperatures and extreme cold. There is frequent contact/immersion of hands in water and sanitation solutions; as well as contact with produce items, dairy products, and frequent allergen related items such as nuts, citrus, gluten, etc.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds, may be required to stock inventory and supplies.
- Have good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination, may be required to operate and use various kitchen equipment and tools.
