Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional check-in experience.
- Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, addressing guest inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Handle guest requests efficiently, including room assignments, concierge services, and resolving concerns to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and guest information using hotel management software.
- Conduct night audits when scheduled, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy.
- Assist with guest relations by providing local information, directions, and personalized recommendations.
- Support front desk operations by managing guest check-outs, processing payments securely, and ensuring smooth transitions for departing guests.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations; previous hotel experience is highly preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally and efficiently.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling effective communication with international guests.
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette and guest interaction.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed for shift coverage.
