What are the responsibilities and job description for the Local Fill-In Delivery Driver position at Edible Arrangements Woodbury?
We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers starting this week right away and filling in. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction. This is a fill-in position.
Start time 10:30/11am each day. Typically work until 3:30-5pm depending on the volume of orders. We are in need of drivers to fill in at times. Drivers use their own vehicle, must have valid insurance and pay is $10 per successful delivery. You can typically deliver 2-3 orders average within an hour. You will have to call and text recipients if they don’t answer their door so clear communication skills are required. You will download our delivery app on your cell phone and deliver within a 25 mile radius of our Woodbury store location. Drivers are 1099.
Responsibilities
- Deliver fruit bouquets, chocolate boxes, cookies and cheesecake packages
- Follow routes and time schedule
- Load, unload, ensure you have everything for your orders
- Complete Deliveries using our app
- Follow safety standards
Skills
- Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
- Valid professional driver’s license
- Ability to operate in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
- High school degree
