Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Window/Door Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installation, construction, and carpentry, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to break metal! This role involves installing windows and doors in residential and commercial settings, ensuring that all installations meet safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
MUST BE ABLE TO USE A BREAK AND BE ABLE TO BEND METAL.
- Install windows and doors according to specifications and building codes.
- Perform glass installation, ensuring proper sealing and insulation.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various installation tasks.
- Conduct heavy lifting as required during the installation process.
- Hang doors accurately and securely, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine installation requirements.
- Execute fabrication tasks as needed for custom installations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites, maintains residential etiquette when working in customer's home.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions or concerns regarding installations.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in window/door installation or related fields such as remodeling or maintenance person services.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot installation issues.
- Ability to perform caulking tasks to ensure water-tight seals around installations. We are looking for individuals who are dedicated, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute to our growing team in delivering high-quality installations that exceed customer expectations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $27.00 per hour
