Our client is seeking a Label Designer/Technician to design and manage the printing of labels for our client's company. You will be responsible for creating labels, integrating barcodes, connecting label templates to SQL databases, and troubleshooting any issues related to label printing.
This role requires a strong understanding of label design software, barcode symbology and database integration. You will work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and efficient label printing.
Duties and Responsibilities
Label Design & Creation: Design and create labels using CodeSoft and BarTender software for various applications, including barcode labels, RFID tags, and general product labels.
Template Management: Develop, maintain, and optimize label templates to ensure consistent design and accuracy.
Software Proficiency: Possess strong skills in both CodeSoft and BarTender software, including design features, data management, and printing options.
Compliance: Ensure labels adhere to industry standards and regulations, such as GS1, RFID, and FDA guidelines.
Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand labeling requirements and provide technical support.

Qualifications and Experience
Software Proficiency: Expert-level experience with CodeSoft and BarTender software.
Labeling Knowledge: Deep understanding of labeling processes in relevant industries (e.g., manufacturing, logistics).
Data Management: Experience with data entry, data formatting, and integrating data with labels.
Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to label design and printing.
Industry-Specific Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., GS1, RFID).
Advanced Design: Proficiency in advanced design techniques within CodeSoft, Label Matrix and BarTender.
Automation: Experience with automating label printing processes and integrating with ERP systems, SQL programming.
Project Management: Experience managing label design projects and ensuring deadlines are met.
The target pay range will be $90k-$100k, depending on the level of relevant experience and qualifications. It would likely have to be converted to an hourly rate of $43-$48/hour
