Overview: As an Armed Part-Time Executive Protection Agent, you will provide close protection, secure transportation, and advance operations in support of a high-profile client. The role requires a minimum of two and a half (2.5) years of elite executive protection experience, formalized training, and special licenses and endorsments.
Position: Armed Part-Time Executive Protection Agent
Location: Northern Virginia, and the DC-Metro Area. All candidates must currently reside within a commutable distance to Northern Virginia. No relocation is offered.
Travel: Occasional with client on a part-time basis.
Hours: Part-Time throughout the workweek. Weekends may occur.

Essential Job Function And Responsibilities
- Provide armed close protection and secure transportation for the client.
- Conduct advance operations when assigned: route reconnaissance, verify ingress/egress, identify immediate security concerns, confirm arrival/departure procedures, and coordinate with venue contacts. Advance duties may cover multiple locations in one day.
- Operate as part of a three-agent protection team when deployed; assume roles as required (close protection, driver/transport, or advance).
- Adjust protective measures in real time based on the client’s activities and itinerary.
- Serve as primary liaison with public and private security authorities and local law enforcement as needed.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion; disclose client information only on a need-to-know basis with authorization.
- Travel as required; submit travel expenses for reimbursement per contract.
The role requires a minimum of 2.5 years of elite executive protection experience, formalized training, and specified licenses and endorsements.
- Minimum 2.5 years of elite executive protection experience with formal EP training.
- Completion of specialized 32E training (approx. 60 hours).
- Completion of 16 hours entry-level handgun training and 14 hours advanced handgun training (32I/07E requirements).
- Valid firearms registration and firearms endorsement for armed protective duties in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
- Completion of a recognized defensive driving course (secure/evade driving training preferred).
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass thorough background checks
- Experience with rotating assignments, part-time contract staffing.
- Additional training in defensive tactics and emergency medical response.
- Prior experience conducting multi-site advances for VIPs.
- Proven experience liaising with law enforcement and venue security.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and ability to operate with minimal supervision.
