The Edgewood Center for Rehab and Healthcare is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly motivated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead clinical operations at our established 156-bed skilled nursing facility in beautiful Portsmouth, New Hampshire. A Rare Leadership Opportunity

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a Registered Nurse licensed in New Hampshire who combines strong clinical expertise with exceptional leadership skills. Our ideal candidate is passionate about skilled nursing and long-term care, committed to resident-centered service, and understands that great clinical outcomes begin with a strong, supported nursing team.

The Director of Nursing will provide leadership through coaching, accountability, collaboration, education, and respect, while maintaining the highest standards of resident care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire

• Previous Director of Nursing experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of state and federal skilled nursing and long-term care regulations

• Demonstrated success with quality outcomes, survey readiness, and regulatory compliance

• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and team-development skills

• Ability to mentor and develop nursing leaders and frontline clinical staff

• Commitment to exceptional service for residents, families, and employees
