Complex Sales Manager

A Complex Sales Manager is responsible for managing client accounts to achieve guest satisfaction and to solicit past and new business to ensure all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded. Assist with hotel sales in assigned markets. Assist with e-commerce strategy, revenue management planning, and marketing efforts for multiple hotel locations. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Sell guestrooms and meeting rooms to prospective companies and/or groups that will have a positive impact on revenues.
• Meet with and repeat business for site inspections, soliciting business, and generating new sales leads. Follow up on phone calls, maintain and organize office files, and prepare correspondence and sales reports.
• Responsible for initiating the preparation of proposals and/or contracts to advise prospective guests of date, space, and rate availability of hotel guest rooms and/or meeting spaces/banquet.
• Responsible for initiating reservations for group attendees, preparing rooming lists, revising existing reservations, and building group blocks in the PMS as needed.
• Data entry using Delphi, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Copying and distributing of internal/external letters, forms, bookings, contracts, resumes, rooms lists, schedules, and mail.
• Email correspondence directed by managers as needed.
• Works closely with Sales Coordinator to ensure accuracy of reservations, groups, and events and ensure the highest level of guest service.
