Soldering Technician

What You Will Do

In general you will perform all tasks involved with preparing, soldering, potting and assembly of small assemblies for Nabson products. Here are the typical daily tasks:

• Using part drawings to produce small assemblies for use in production. This includes:
• Cleaning and preparing parts for assembly;
• Sanding and prepping parts for assembly;
• Solder small wires and parts in accordance with drawings for assemblies;
• Assemble, pot and seal assemblies in accordance with drawings;
• Label and test assemblies in accordance with procedures
• Utilize manufacturing software to track progress and completion of all assigned manufacturing orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory of all parts and completed assemblies.

What You Need to Bring Every Day

• Thoroughness in accomplishing a task ensuring even the smallest of details.
• Demonstrating care about working with the team and committed to helping deliver quality products on time
• Work cooperatively with others and put the team efforts above individual efforts.
• Ability to lift items of 40lbs.
• Ability to see and differentiate between wire coloring and labeling.
• Ability to safely use sharp cutting tools and soldering irons.
• Ability to read and follow part drawings and work instructions.

Your Education and Experience

• High School diploma or GED.
• Familiarity and experience using hand tools and ability to read and take accurate measurements using a tape measure.
• Experience assembling small parts.
• 1 years of soldering experience.

Working Hours: This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7:00-3:30.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
