Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Extruder Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Taunton, MA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating extrusion equipment and maintaining consistent product quality in a fast-paced production environment. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to monitor and adjust machines to ensure efficient production.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor extruder machines during production runs
• Adjust machine settings such as temperature, pressure, and speed to maintain product specifications
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform basic adjustments as needed
• Maintain accurate production records and reports
• Follow all safety procedures and company manufacturing guidelines
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Assist with material loading and machine changeovers when required

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating extrusion machines required
• Manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
