CDL B Truck Driver

Overview

We are hiring a CDL Class B Hazmat Truck Driver for local delivery and transportation work in the Taunton, MA area. This position is ideal for experienced CDL B drivers looking for consistent weekday work, stable hours, and daily home time.

Drivers in this role will operate CDL B straight trucks on local routes while safely transporting freight, including hazardous materials (Hazmat endorsement required).

This is a full-time, steady position with year-round work and a strong focus on safety, reliability, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL Class B commercial vehicles safely on local routes
• Transport and deliver freight, including hazardous materials
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and mileage reports
• Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding deliveries
• Load and unload freight when required

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class B License (Required)
• Valid Hazmat Endorsement (Required)
• Must have a clean driving record or strong safety history
• Ability to follow DOT regulations and safety procedures
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year CDL B driving experience
• Route delivery experience
• Tanker, dump truck, or roll-off experience
• Forklift experience (a plus)

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
