Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and organized HVAC Warehouse Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations. This role ensures efficient inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and a safe, organized warehouse that supports field technicians and internal departments. The ideal candidate will have HVAC industry knowledge, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in warehouse and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities including receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping HVAC parts, tools, and equipment.
- Manage inventory control systems to ensure accuracy, minimize shrinkage, and track usage.
- Work closely with purchasing and field service teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Ensure all HVAC materials are labeled, organized, and stored according to company procedures and safety guidelines.
- Maintain and enforce OSHA and company safety protocols; conduct regular safety audits.
- Coordinate delivery and logistics for job site deliveries and technician supply needs.
- Monitor and maintain tools and equipment check-in/check-out procedures.
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes for improved efficiency.
- Support seasonal preparation and inventory turnover planning.
- Manage returns, warranty items, and vendor relationships for inventory matters.
- Assist in budget planning and cost control related to warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management, preferably in the HVAC or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and tools is a significant plus.
- Proficiency with warehouse/inventory management software.
- Ability to operate forklifts and warehouse equipment (certification preferred).
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks as needed.
