What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Maintenance Technician position at Edgerow Property Management?
Edgerow Property Management is a full service residential property management company managing properties across West Michigan.
The maintenance technician will perform all areas of maintenance for Edgerow Property Management not requiring a license. Maintenance Technician responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Repairing/replacing faucets and plumbing fixtures and drains/traps
- Light electrical (i.e. repairing/replacing outlets, switches, etc.)
- Drywall repair
- Painting (interior and exterior)
- Lawncare/landscaping/pruning
- Light HVAC (i.e. troubleshoot issues, light pilots, replace thermostats, etc.)
- Simple appliance repair
- Cleaning vacant apartments
- Junk removal
- Assigning work orders to appropriate vendors, contacting vendor and/or tenants to schedule the work
- Assure that work is completed properly and efficiently
- Track billable hours and report to management regularly to ensure proper billing
