Full Job Description

We are a manufacturer of holster and tactical gear currently looking for an Injection Molding Operator to join our team on 2ndshift.

Duties to include but not limited to:

• Duties/Responsibilities:
• Remove products from the press and process them for shipment or transfer to finishing
• Measure products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Package and label products as directed in job packet.
• Operate machinery and equipment used in the manufacture of products.
• Read and follow operating manuals; work instructions, process alerts and procedures.
• Follow established documentation for producing manufactured product.
• Perform in-process inspection of all parts and/or assemblies in accordance with the requirements stated in the job packet (work instructions) or as otherwise stated on drawings.
• Perform SPC, visual and gauge inspection, and complete required forms when required.
• Involvement in our continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
• Clean the machine and work areas to ensure the housekeeping and safety of the plant.
• Operate machines as assigned and assist co-workers at other workstations as needed.
• Perform any work deemed necessary by the supervisor.
• Identify, properly contain, and label scrap/purging.
• Perform any secondary processes as needed
• Perform rework, as necessary.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Required Skills/Abilities:
· Perform essential duties satisfactorily.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Thorough understanding of applicable safety rules.
Education and Experience:

· High School Diploma and/or G.E.D. preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to understand written and verbal communication
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Manual dexterity
• Demonstrated the basic knowledge of molding process or ability/willingness to learn the molding process
• Must be able to participate in job development training

• 10 hour shift

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
