Position Summary
EDGE-Works Manufacturing Company is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll & Administrative Coordinator (Part-Time) to support payroll administration, employee records management, benefits administration, onboarding, compliance, accounts payable, and financial reconciliation activities. This position plays a critical role in ensuring employees are paid accurately, personnel records remain compliant, and administrative processes run efficiently.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with confidential information, and capable of balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll into ADP system,
- Add, Terminate, Update employees in ADP system including direct deposit, taxes, and benefits
- Keep accurate and up to date employee records
- Run new employees through E-Verify, review, and verify I-9 documents.
- Make up new employee packets both in Spanish and English
- Help employees with benefits – connect them with benefit brokers and login on to Employee navigator.
- Match up product receipts to purchase orders and invoices. Verify prices and quantities,
- Work with Receiving department on open purchase orders and any discrepancies
- Reconcile daily Miva credit card reports with the bank ledger.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll, HR administration, accounting, or office administration.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now payroll system preferred.
- Knowledge of I-9 and E-Verify requirements preferred.
- Experience with accounts payable and account reconciliation processes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Manufacturing industry experience
- Experience with Employee Navigator or similar benefits administration systems.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
