Edge Sports Global LLC is seeking a motivated and reliable Zamboni Driver to join our rink operations team in our Rhode Island Facilities. The Rhode Island Sports Center and Lynch Arena facilities have openings. This hands-on role includes driving the Zamboni for ice resurfacing as well as performing all standard janitorial and maintenance tasks to keep the facility clean, safe, and welcoming. Edge Sports Global will provide training for qualified applicants to learn the Zamboni operation safely and effectively. Key Responsibilities a Zamboni Driver: Operating the Zamboni to resurface ice between sessions (training provided) Perform all janitorial duties including: -Cleaning locker rooms, restrooms, bleachers, and lobbies -Mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and trash removal -Maintaining general cleanliness and sanitation of the arena Assist with rink setup and breakdown: -Move nets, benches, and rink equipment as needed -Prepare the ice surface with edging and patching Support other operational duties: -Monitor and restock cleaning and facility supplies -Empty and refill Zamboni snow bins and water tanks -Conduct minor maintenance and report facility issues Provide excellent customer service: -Greet and assist guests with professionalism -Respond to questions and help maintain a positive arena experience -Act as a helpful and visible presence on shift Follow all safety procedures and guidelines for equipment and facility use Qualifications: -Prior experience in janitorial or facility maintenance preferred -Willingness to learn and be trained in Zamboni operation -Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed -Must be physically capable of lifting, standing, and bending for long periods -Must be capable of working in a cold environment -Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated -Strong customer service and communication skills -Must work well independently and as part of a team Our Work Experience is the combination of everything that's unique about us: our culture, our core values, our company meetings, our commitment to sustainability, our recognition programs, but most importantly, it's our people.
