Its Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) is 27 bed cardiac and medical critical care unit. The unit specializes in pre- and post-operative cardiac, cardiomyopathy patients requiring mechanical circulatory support, as well as heart failure and post-MI cardiology patient, IABP, Swan-Ganz, CRRT, TTM, DKA, Pacemakers, Severe Sepsis, and Respiratory Failure.
We seek candidates with recent ICU Charge Nurse experience for the role of RN Supervisor – CICU |Nights. The person in this role will work a full-time 12-hour night shift, 3 nights per week. She/he will provide an optimal environment and assist in overseeing and directing unit activities and personnel in order to ensure high quality patient care. She/he will plan, organize, control, and coordinate the department activities ensuring high quality patient care and efficient, cost-effective service.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree Nursing and hold a California Registered Nurse License upon hire. Master’s degree is a plus. Must have current BLS. Must have two (2) or more years of Charge Nurse/Relief Charge Nurse experience.
