We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy machinery on construction sites and a strong understanding of various equipment used in the industry. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient operations and maintaining safety standards while building and completing projects. This is about a 6 week project with potential for long term work. Pay is $30-32 with $650/week per diem.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment, mostly excavator.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with construction teams to build structures according to project specifications.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery on construction sites.
- Assist in the transportation of materials and equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Skills
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly in construction settings.
- Knowledge of various types of machinery, including but not limited to front loader trucks, concrete mixers, bulldozers, cranes, and farm machinery.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices related to heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid commercial driving license is preferred but not required.

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 50 per week

- 8 hour shift
