Company Description Edge Optics is a locally owned eye clinic that has served the Fort Collins community since 2011 with advanced eye care and carefully curated eyewear. Founded by Dr. Mason Bryant, OD, and Mindy Bryant, the practice focuses on personalized, patient-centered care in a welcoming environment. Our offices blend art, music, and fashion—far from the typical clinical setting. We have an actual dispensing bar equipped with drinks for our patients to enjoy during their shopping experience, or during one of our many in-store events! The team provides tech-forward vision services for all ages, from pediatric eye exams to senior eye health. Patients can access routine exams, prescription and non-prescription lenses, and specialty eyewear. Eye care professionals, including Spanish-speaking providers, are known for their relaxed, approachable style and strong clinical expertise, our sport-specific and eco-conscious eyewear and our community-focused values.

This is a full-time, on-site Optometrist role based in Fort Collins, CO. The Optometrist will provide comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages, including refractions, contact lens fittings, and evaluations for ocular health conditions. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and managing vision and ocular disorders, prescribing lenses and treatments, and coordinating care with other providers when needed. The role also involves educating patients on eye health, lens options, and preventive care, while documenting findings accurately in patient records. The Optometrist will contribute to a collaborative clinic environment, support practice growth, and help ensure a positive, personalized experience for every patient.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution and current, unrestricted license to practice optometry in Colorado.
• Demonstrated clinical skills in comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fitting, diagnosis and management of common ocular conditions, and use of modern diagnostic equipment.
• Strong patient communication and counseling abilities, including clear explanation of diagnoses, treatment options, and eyewear recommendations.
• Commitment to providing personalized, community-focused care and working effectively with patients of diverse ages, backgrounds, and language needs; Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively with optical staff and other eye care professionals, maintain accurate records, and support efficient clinic operations.
• Experience or interest in tech-forward vision services, specialty lenses, and contemporary eyewear trends is highly beneficial.
• Willingness to participate in occasional evening or weekend hours as needed to meet patient demand.

This position will primarily be based in Fort Collins full-time, with occasional coverage in Loveland (including Saturdays). You’ll work alongside experienced Optometrists in a practice that has been voted a Top 3 Eye Care Clinic in Northern Colorado for over a decade.
