We are seeking an experienced Cement Pump Specialist to support our Plug and Abandonment (P&A) operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining cement pumping equipment to safely and efficiently execute wellbore abandonment projects in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
\n- Operate cementing units, pumps, and mixing systems during well abandonment operations.
- Conduct pre- and post-job equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
- Calculate slurry volumes, displacement, and pressure requirements.
- Mix and pump cement slurries to set wellbore plugs per engineered designs.
- Collaborate with field engineers, wireline, and rig crews during P&A operations.
- Maintain accurate job logs and equipment performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in oilfield cementing; P&A experience preferred.
- Proficiency with high-pressure pumps, cement blending, and downhole displacement.
- Valid CDL (Class A with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements preferred).
- Strong understanding of cementing calculations and procedures.
- Ability to work in remote environments and on a rotational schedule (14/7).
- Physically fit to handle lifting, bending, and long shifts in field conditions.
- Experience with plug placement in onshore/offshore wellbores.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for well abandonment (RRC).
- Familiarity with cementing simulation software and digital data acquisition systems.
