Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscape and Hardscape Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating beautiful outdoor spaces by installing landscape and hardscape features. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop your skills in landscaping and construction, and contribute to the enhancement of our clients’ properties.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain landscapes including planting, mulching, grading, and sod installation
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to ensure healthy and vibrant outdoor spaces
- Assist with hardscape projects such as pavers, retaining walls, patios, walkways and outdoor living spaces.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment safely
- Perform excavation, base preparation, and material installation
- Assist with drainage solutions and irrigation installs
- Follow project plans and directions from crew leaders
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Work efficiently to meet project timelines
Job Qualifications
This is a physically active outdoor position and requires team members who are ready to work in all seasons.
- Prior experience in landscape maintenance, hardscape installation required
- Familiarity with lawn care practices including mowing, fertilization, and pest control
- Knowledge of hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (drills, saws) used in landscaping projects
- Strong safety awareness when operating machinery like excavators or power tools
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
