Position Summary
These roles sit at the heartbeat of the operation—where uptime, leadership, and execution all meet.
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of maintenance professionals while ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all production equipment. This position will focus on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and team development.
The 2nd shift role will require a hands-on leadership approach, actively supporting troubleshooting and repair efforts alongside the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians
- Plan and prioritize daily maintenance activities and work orders
- Drive preventative maintenance programs and improve equipment reliability
- Utilize and optimize CMMS for work orders, PM tracking, and inventory
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and support root cause analysis efforts
- Partner with operations and engineering to improve performance and reduce downtime
- Coordinate outside contractors and maintenance-related projects
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience with CMMS and preventative maintenance programs
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and support technical problem-solving
- Experience in food, chemical, or regulated manufacturing environments is a plus
- Familiarity with automated equipment and production systems
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
Work Environment
- Manufacturing setting with exposure to production equipment and industrial systems
- May involve exposure to common food manufacturing allergens
