The Firmware Engineer should have a strong background in firmware development and coding to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with embedded systems and a passion for developing high-quality code in a fast paced startup environment.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Design, develop, and maintain firmware for embedded systems.
- Write and debug software in C, C , Rust and Python.
- Work across both Windows and Linux codebases to ensure system compatibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Qualifications and Experience for success:
- BS or higher in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience in firmware development or equivalent.
- Proficiency in C, C , and Python.
- Experience working with both Windows and Linux environments.
- Experience with IP/Ethernet and I2C/SPI/UART communication protocols.
- Experience with wireless communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with developing test scripts for validating firmware functionality.
If you have these, it would be even better:
- Experience with Rust.
- Familiarity with video pipeline flow.
- Experience working with NVIDIA platforms and SDKs.
- Circuit design knowledge and experience.
- Design and development experience on complex robotic systems.
