Deli Production Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Deli Production Supervisor to lead our deli team in delivering exceptional food quality and customer service. In this role, you will oversee daily food preparation operations, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained, and manage team performance to create a vibrant, efficient, and welcoming environment. Your leadership will drive the success of our deli department by coordinating food production, supervising staff, and upholding high standards of cleanliness and safety. Duties

• Supervise daily deli food preparation, ensuring all products meet quality standards and are prepared efficiently
• Oversee food handling procedures to maintain safety, sanitation, and compliance with health regulations
• Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor stock rotation to minimize waste and control costs
• Uphold cleanliness standards through regular sanitation checks

Requirements

• Proven experience in food preparation
• Culinary experience with a solid understanding of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team with effective communication and motivational skills
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations, and inventory management
• Previous production, restaurant, or grocery store experience is highly desirable
