Join Our Team as an Front of House Team Member at one of our Trussville Bakery.
Pay reaching $12-17 average per hour after tips. Starting rate commensurate with experience.
Monday-Saturday, off days are Sunday and a weekday during the week. Morning Shift from 6AM till approximately 2 PM and closing shift is approximately 2 PM to 7 PM
Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Front of House Team Member to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating the cash register, and assisting with various tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient operation. This position requires someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about food and customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide a warm, welcoming experience.
- Accurately operate the cash register, process payments, and provide change.
- Answer customer questions regarding menu items, products, and daily specials.
- Assist customers with selecting baked goods, beverages, and other café items.
- Package and present food items attractively and according to store standards.
- Restock displays and shelves with fresh products as needed.
- Keep the front of house and cashier area clean and organized.
- Assist with basic food preparation and coffee/tea beverage making, if required.
- Ensure all customer orders are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Address any customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in retail, customer service, or food service is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- A positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
