Description
Edgar Minerals Inc is looking for a fabricator/ maintenance technician for IMMEDIATE HIRE. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team. This job title includes the following duties:
- Basic welding techniques (Stick and MiG)
- Assembling equipment/ structures though out the plant, under supervision
- Operating heavy equipment (forklift etc.) , with safety as your number one priority
- Operating basic hand tools (Grinder, drill, etc.)
- Operating Oxy/ Acetylene Torch
- Metal working, under supervision
- Blasting and painting equipment
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work area/ fabrication shop
Requirements
- MUST be able to work will with others as a team
- MUST be willing to travel to other locations with possible overnight stays
- Wear proper PPE at all times
- Must be able to lift 50 – 100 lbs.
- Observe and follow all safety principles and practices
- Complete tasks given to you by the plant manager
Qualifications:
- Must have Valid Florida Driver’s License
- Highschool GED or equivalent is desired, not required
- Willingness to learn and expand knowledge of Torch and welding skill.
- One year of verified experience/ knowledge is required.
- Must be able to pass a drug test

Starting Hourly Rate: $20.00/HR
