Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Home Health Aide role based in Middlesex, NJ. Home Health Aides will assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support in their homes. Responsibilities include providing personal care, monitoring client well-being, offering companionship, and supporting light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable environment. The role also involves clear communication with clients, families, and the care team, documenting observations, and following care plans developed by nursing staff. Home Health Aides are expected to uphold Eden Touch Home Care’s commitment to compassionate service, respect, and client dignity.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Home Care, including in-home support and familiarity with care plans.
- Strong Communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Proficiency in assisting with Activities of Daily Living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Solid Patient Care and Personal Care skills, including monitoring condition changes and providing safe, respectful hands-on support.
- Completion of an approved Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program preferred.
- Current relevant certification or license as required by New Jersey regulations for Home Health Aides.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, follow safety protocols, and maintain professional boundaries.
- Reliable transportation to client homes in and around Ocean County, NJ, and flexibility to work assigned shifts.
- Background check clearance and authorization to work in the United States.
