Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background with experience in various healthcare settings, demonstrating excellent patient care skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach. As a Nurse at Eden Springs, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care, ensuring patient safety, and supporting the overall well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation.
- Administer medications and injections accurately while adhering to prescribed treatment plans and safety protocols.
- Monitor patients' conditions closely, recognizing signs of acute pain or deterioration requiring immediate intervention.
- Assist with specialized procedures such as IV infusions, catheter care, suturing, and wound management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with patients' needs.
- Provide patient education on health management, medication usage, and post-discharge instructions to promote recovery and independence.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license (RN or LPN) with current registration in the state of practice.
- Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring memory care or hospice services.
- Competence in performing aseptic techniques, sterile processing, phlebotomy, and specimen collection/processing.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with critical thinking abilities to handle triage situations effectively.
- Additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), or specialized training in dialysis or ostomy care are advantageous.
