Position: Transportation Driver / CNA (Full-Time)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, typically 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Must be flexible to accommodate resident appointment schedules.

Position: Transportation Driver / CNA (Full-Time)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, typically 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Must be flexible to accommodate resident appointment schedules.
Job Responsibilities
- Transport residents safely to and from medical appointments and other approved destinations.
- Review daily and weekly transportation schedules with the Transportation Coordinator.
- Prepare residents for appointments, ensuring proper hygiene, attire, and comfort.
- Gather and maintain all required paperwork and documentation before transport.
- Assist residents with entering and exiting the transportation vehicle, including the use of wheelchair lifts and other mobility equipment.
- Accompany residents to appointments as needed and provide support throughout the visit.
- Communicate information, instructions, and updates received from healthcare providers to the nursing team.
- Monitor resident safety and well-being during transport and appointments.
- Report transportation concerns, scheduling conflicts, or resident issues to the appropriate staff.
- Maintain resident confidentiality and uphold resident rights at all times.
- Provide CNA-related support and resident care as needed within the facility.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work professionally with residents, families, staff, healthcare providers, and the general public.
- Clean driving record with fewer than 15 points on Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
- Ability to safely lift, transfer, and assist residents, including the use of wheelchair lifts and mobility equipment.
- Ability to receive, understand, and relay detailed medical information to nursing staff accurately.
