Edenbrook of Wisconsin Rapids is a CMS 5-star skilled nursing facility known for its warm, family-oriented culture and commitment to high-quality resident care. We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to support our growing team in a fast-paced, supportive healthcare environment.
Position Overview
The Human Resources Generalist will play a key role in managing day-to-day HR operations within the facility. This is a stand-alone HR position working closely with leadership and department heads to support employees and ensure smooth HR processes.
Compensation Schedule
- Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 annually
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
- Process and oversee bi-weekly payroll accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain and update employee personnel files in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
- Conduct interviews and assist in the recruitment process for CNAs, Nurses, and other facility staff
- Support onboarding activities and ensure all required new hire documentation is completed and properly filed
- Assist with accounts payable functions, including processing and tracking invoices
- Serve as a key point of contact for day-to-day HR matters, employee questions, and workplace concerns
- Support employee relations efforts, including initial handling of concerns and assisting with internal investigations when needed
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and healthcare employment regulations
- Collaborate with leadership and department heads to support staffing and operational needs
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 1 year of HR experience in a healthcare setting
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
