Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Waitstaff/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage guest relations will be essential in creating a memorable dining experience.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
• Take and manage reservations, utilizing the SpotOn systems as needed.
• Provide menus and explain daily specials to guests, ensuring they have all necessary information to make informed choices.
• Assist in serving food and beverages while maintaining high standards of hospitality.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, fostering positive guest relations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure efficient service flow.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Uphold restaurant policies regarding health and safety standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a host/host or in food service is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with effective phone etiquette.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in restaurant or hotel settings is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $14.00 per hour
