Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat customers promptly with a friendly demeanor.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha or Micros POS systems.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and manage cash handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations through regular bussing.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards throughout service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant roles, with a strong understanding of the food industry.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices is preferred.
• Proficient in using POS systems such as Aloha or Micros for order entry and payment processing.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
• Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations to ensure guest safety.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests.

Job Type: Full-time

Projected Total Compensation: $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
