Job Overview
Seeking Kitchen Supervisor to assist in leading our BOH team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role requires excellent leadership skills, inventory control, food prep supervision , and the ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety/sanitation.
- Oversee food preparation and storages, adhering to safety and sanitation regulations.
- Manage inventory control and ordering of supplies to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Oversee Expo station.
- Coordinate with the front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy shifts.
- Implement and uphold food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in supervising kitchen operations within the food industry, preferably in a fast upscale setting.
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience in food production, and inventory management is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for food handling.
- Familiarity with restaurant management practices, including shift management and customer service excellence.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $ $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
