Duties

- Process cash transactions accurately using cash registers and POS systems, including handling cash drawers and performing cash management tasks
- Support retail lending activities by explaining financial products and assisting with loan processing or collections as needed
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of store merchandise, financial software, and retail math to provide informed recommendations
- Manage data entry tasks efficiently to record sales, customer information, and transaction details with precision
- Handle retail store operations such as balancing cash drawers, performing basic math calculations, and ensuring accurate cash handling procedures
- Contribute to achieving sales goals through proactive engagement, upselling, and cross-selling of products and services
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales or retail store environments with strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of banking or financial services processes, including loan collections and processing
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling, retail math, and financial transactions
- Competence in data entry and familiarity with financial software systems
- Excellent communication skills to effectively assist customers and explain financial products
- Experience with cash drawer handling, cashiering, and cash management procedures
