What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN- VISITING NURSE, PER DIEM -HOME HEALTH position at Eden Home Healthcare, Inc.?
Eden HHC is looking for experienced Registered Nurses to join our dedicated team. The candidates must have minimum of 1 year professional Home Health nursing experience. Our service area includes Los Angeles County, Orange County, Ventura County, San Bernardino County, Riverside County and Kern County. We use Wellsky/Kinnser for EMR. Position is for Per Diem to cover Los Angeles and surrounding areas. Candidate will set preferred areas to cover.
Candidates must have:
- Current active RN license in the state of California
- Current CPR, Health clearance, TB clearance
- Minimum of one year of professional Home Health nursing experience
- Must pass criminal background check
- Driver’s license
- Proficiency in EMR charting and timely submission of documents
- Proficiency in wound care, catheter insertion, tracheostomy care, diabetic care, vital signs monitoring, ostomy care
Responsibilities:
- Complete on-going comprehensive assessments of the patient’s needs
- Provide service and /or treatments requiring substantial and specialized nursing skills
- Provide skilled nursing care under the direction of the RN or the physician
- Educate and support the patient, family and caregiver in meeting nursing and related needs
- Perform duties consistent with the Nursing Practice Act including the Standards of Competent Performance.
- Implements the patient's individualized plan of care and participates in case conferences
