About the Role
Eden Pharmacy is seeking a pharmacist to be the point person for achieving and holding license reciprocity in 10 specific states minimum within 90 days with the following bonus structure for achieving these results.
- $15,000 for passing license examination for 10 states in 90 days.
- $5000 additional if the exams are past in 10 weeks.
- $500 annual pharmacist license carrying bonus per state.
- 2 year commitment to employment at Eden Pharmacy to retain exam passing bonus.
The beginning focus of this role will center on study and taking of jurisprudence examinations, and will not involve daily operational duties initially. This allows for utilization of all work time to study and take exams.
The role transitions to a staff pharmacist position upon completion of licensure reciprocities. The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and appropriate use of medications. This includes verifying prescriptions, counseling patients, overseeing the work of pharmacy staff, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Your Responsibilities
- To accomplish reciprocity and holding of pharmacist licensure in 10 states minimum from the following states - AL, AK, AR, CA, IL, KS, KY, LA, MA, MI, MD, MS, NE, NV, OH, OK, TN, TX, VA, WV
- Full time work devoted to scheduling, studying for, and passing state jurisprudence exams.
Upon transition to staff pharmacist:
- Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriate dosing, and potential interactions.
- Dispense medications and counsel patients on proper use, potential side effects, and storage.
- Oversee and supervise pharmacy technicians and clerks.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of protected health information (PHI).
- Ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy laws, regulations, and licensing requirements.
- Collaborate with providers and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
- Participate in inventory management, including ordering and checking in medications.
- Respond to medication-related inquiries from patients and providers.

What You Bring to Eden
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree.
- Active pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate state board.
- Ideal candidate will be licensed in any 2 or more of the following states
- AL, AK, AR, CA, IL, KS, KY, LA, MI, MD, MS, NE, NV, OH, OK, TN, VA, WV
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and clinical guidelines.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Sterile training and certification strongly preferred.
- TX sterile training strongly preferred

Compensation at Eden will be determined by skills, experience, and geographic location. Eden has identified the expected annual base salary range for this role:$110 - $200k
At the launch of each position, we benchmark compensation to the appropriate role and level utilizing competitive compensation data from various data sources as references. At the offer stage, we use the signal we received from our interviews coupled with your experience, location, and other job-related factors to determine final compensation.
