About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Engineering Lead to guide our engineering team through the design, development, and delivery of innovative, scalable solutions that support our mission. This individual will serve as a technical leader, mentor, and key collaborator, responsible for driving innovation, engineering excellence, and cross-functional alignment. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving Eden’s engineering excellence and aligning our technical roadmap with overall business goals.

Your Responsibilities

• System Design & Architecture: Develop and implement systems architecture to support business applications and scalability. 

• Project Oversight: Monitor project progress, proactively identify and mitigate risks, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of projects.
• Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and expertise on complex engineering challenges, stay abreast of industry trends, and champion best practices.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product management, sales, marketing, and operations to ensure alignment and seamless project execution.
• Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain high-quality standards for engineering processes and deliverables.
• Talent Development: Promote a culture of continuous learning and growth within the engineering team.

Qualifications

What You Bring to Eden

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. 
• Proven Experience: At least 6 years in advanced engineering roles, preferably in direct-to-consumer, CPG, or telehealth environments, with a track record of driving 10X value.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Experience building out middleware solutions and SSO user management infrastructures.
  • Proven ability to manage both frontend and backend development teams.
  • Ability to design, develop, and deploy point solutions as a team-of-one.
  • Experience with SaaS is a plus.
  • Experience building ERP/EMR technology solutions is a plus.
  • Familiarity with “Healthie” infrastructure is a plus.
• Hands-on Approach: Ability to lead small teams and actively contribute code.
• Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to develop and execute long-term operational plans.
• Leadership skills: Proven ability to motivate, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to diverse audiences.
• Engineering Level: L4-level engineering position.

At the launch of each position, we benchmark compensation to the appropriate role and level utilizing competitive compensation data from various data sources as references. At the offer stage, we use the signal we received from our interviews coupled with your experience, location, and other job-related factors to determine final compensation.
