Medical Assistant - Ophthalmic

We are seeking a dedicated Ophthalmic Medical Assistant to join our team in Rio Rancho, NM. In this role, you will assist ophthalmologists with patient care, perform preliminary exams, and ensure a smooth clinical workflow.

Responsibilities Include

• Preparing patients for examinations and procedures
• Administering visual tests, eye drops, and medications as directed
• Gathering patient histories and documenting accurate medical information
• Assisting with diagnostic tests such as tonometry and visual acuity assessments
• Providing patient education on eye health and treatment plans
