Duties And Responsibilities
- A focal point for payroll and personnel facts maintained by the Company.
- Work with Human Resources and Department Managers to ensure timely updates to records associated with attendance, payroll, and benefits.
- Ensure that payroll is accurately and timely dispatched to employees.
- Work with the Accounting Department Manager to train reliable back-ups for payroll and records maintenance. Keep trained back-ups up to date as developments and Department protocols necessitate.
- Interface with other Company Managers and Supervisors in the allocation of paid time to employees and other issues related to payroll as they arise.
- Facilitate preparation of accurate Company and management reports using verified source data.
- Proficiently assist the accounting team in various Department projects and responsibilities.
- Education and experience necessary to bring competence to these duties in the Accounting Department
- Professional communication skills; verbal and written
- Be or quickly become adept in Excel, MS Word, and Eden software programs with a willing eagerness to learn.
