Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout each session.
- Maintain detailed records of treatments provided and monitor client progress over time.
- Ensure all massage services adhere to safety standards, hygiene protocols, and licensing regulations.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in physiology, anatomy, pain management, and medical terminology to enhance treatment quality.
- Promote a welcoming environment that emphasizes customer service excellence and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification.
- Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pain management techniques.
- Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and communicate effectively with clients about their needs and treatment options.
- CPR certification is required to ensure safety during all sessions.
- Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.

Pay: $36.28 - $43.69 per hour
