What are the responsibilities and job description for the Small Group/Classroom Special Education Paraeducator - Eden Central School position at Eden Central School?
Eden Central School is seeking a caring and collaborative paraeducator to work within our joyful community of learners. The ideal candidate will:
*Assist in the educational and social development of learners under the direction and guidance of the special educator and classroom teachers.
*Assist in supporting learners Individual Education Plans under the direction of the classroom teacher and special educator
*Provide support for the individual, small group, and classroom size groups of learners inside and outside the classroom
*Work with other professionals, such as speech therapist, student support,
occupational and physical therapists to support learners.
*Assist and partner with classroom teachers to meet the needs of each individual
*Use positive supports for learners with emotional or behavioral needs

*Participate in all professional learning opportunities as designated
*Perform all duties as assigned
*Enjoy and collaborate within a learner-centered team environment.
