THE ORGANIZATION

The firm is a contemporary private aviation platform that has transformed the model of fractional aircraft ownership through a unique exchange fund structure. This model provides investors with unlimited flight access, no management overhead, and no restrictive dates, with long-term financial performance aligned with the S&P 500. Supported by a sophisticated network of founders, family offices, and prominent venture capital partners, the company operates at the nexus of luxury aviation and high-level asset management.

Expanding on this success, the organization has established a subsidiary wealth management and finance arm. This entity acts as a registered broker-dealer managing an exchange fund tailored for those with concentrated stock positions. The fund allows participants to transition concentrated equity into a diversified pool, creating tax-efficient gains through aviation asset income while aiming for returns that track major market benchmarks. The fund’s expansion is driven by the acquisition of concentrated equity, with firm revenue scaling in tandem with Assets Under Management (AUM).


THE ROLE

This is a foundational position within an early-stage, high-growth company. We are not seeking a traditional manager; we are looking for a pioneer. The Head of Distribution will be tasked with architecting and executing the investor acquisition framework from the ground up. This involves defining the distribution blueprint, segmenting advisor targets, establishing platform alliances, and building the pipeline mechanics—rather than following a pre-existing manual.

Candidates do not need an aviation background. Industry-specific experience is not required. The essential qualification is a verifiable history of successfully raising capital from family offices, Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), or high-net-worth individuals, combined with the drive to build a new venture.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Strategic Design: Formulate and launch the overarching investor distribution plan, including channel selection, advisor categorization, and workflow design.
  • Network Activation: Cultivate and leverage a broad network of RIAs and family offices capable of contributing concentrated equity or capital to the fund.
  • Platform Integration: Foster strategic alliances with alternative investment distribution networks (such as CAIS, iCapital, or similar platforms).
  • Growth Leadership: Directly accelerate AUM growth, as the firm’s financial success is intrinsically linked to the size of the investment pool.
  • End-to-End Onboarding: Manage the entire investor journey, from the initial outreach through the allocation process and transition to reporting.
  • Collaborative Strategy: Partner with the founding team to refine product positioning, fee narratives, and market messaging for the professional wealth management community.
  • 90-Day Roadmap: Create and present a detailed 90-day execution plan during the final interview stages, outlining target sectors and initial milestones.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience: 5 years in alternative investments, wealth management, or high-level capital raising.
  • Proven Results: Documented history of personal capital raises; you must have been the primary lead in securing these institutional or private relationships.
  • Existing Network: A ready-to-access list of RIA contacts and family office relationships.
  • Technical Knowledge: Fluency in concentrated stock management strategies, including exchange funds, equity collars, tax-deferred swaps (e.g., 721/1031 structures), and tax-efficient diversification.
  • Licensure: Series 65 required (or the ability to secure it quickly); CFA or CFP designations are highly valued.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Comfortable with the fluidity of a startup, able to operate without a pre-built infrastructure, and highly self-motivated.
  • Location: Residing in New York or Miami (remote considered); frequent travel for investor engagement is expected.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Background at a wealth-tech firm, RIA, or alternative investment platform.
  • Experience with Reg D 506(c) structures or illiquid asset funds.
  • Familiarity with tax-advantaged structures like Opportunity Zones or 721 exchanges.
  • Series 7/24 licenses.
WHO THIS IS NOT FOR
  • Individuals with a background strictly in private jet sales or chartering (the investor profile is fundamentally different).
  • Managers who oversaw teams that raised capital but did not personally originate and close deals.
  • Professionals who prefer the stability and rigid processes of a large corporate environment.
  • Those whose fundraising history is limited exclusively to credit or debt markets.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Base Salary: $150,000 – $300,000 based on professional history.
  • Incentives: A performance-driven commission structure tied to AUM growth.
  • Equity: Significant equity ownership in the wealth management entity, offering substantial upside for an early team member.
