BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
This position is responsible for all oversight concerning purchasing and procurement for Eddy County; managing RFPs, IFBs, RFIs, etc.; approving purchase orders and change orders in the countys financial system per state guidelines; overseeing monthly p-card audits. Employee must be responsible for making independent decisions regarding Eddy County procurement. Employee must perform all duties with minimal supervision and in absence of supervisor, must be able to take full responsibility of deadlines and all other tasks. Employee may be required to work irregular hours, attend job-related meetings, and perform other duties as assigned.
