Staff Accountant (part-time with full-time opportunity)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and accurate Accountant to join our Finance team. The Accountant will assist the Company’s day-to-day accounting and financial operations, including bookkeeping, customer billing, vendor invoice processing and payments, credit card transactions, monthly closing activities, preparation of basic financial management reports, account reconciliations and analysis. The position will also assist with various administrative and compliance-related activities, including annual insurance renewals, annual audits, tax returns, budgeting and other finance-related projects and tasks.
This position will initially begin as a part-time role with the potential to transition into a full-time position based on performance and needs of the business.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, familiarity with IFRS is a plus.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
- Prior experience working within the healthcare, medical device, or biotechnology industries is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Sage 50 accounting software is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and other applications.
- Strong attention to detail and a proven track record of accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work on-site at our Princeton office location.
Compensation:
$35 - $45/hour; compensation based on experience, education and relevant skills.
